Cooperative activities in Estonia seem to be successful as savings and loan associations and cooperative retail trade (COOP) have many members today. Mutual insurance was hughly popular at the time of Estonia's first independence time and there is complexion in re-establishing such activities again. The market also lacks a number of types of insurance that market participants do not offer today and we also want to patch these “holes” with the mtutual insurance for the founding members.
